Israeli bombings in Gaza increase

Israeli attack on Gaza by air, land, and sea was further enhanced after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not stop until his mission is complete.

Monday (29/07) night, eerie atmosphere enveloped Gaza when about 60 air strikes hit buildings television and radio stations, as well as all the places associated with Hamas.

At least 60 Palestinians were killed, according to local health officials.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel will continue to attack until the goal is reached-click.

In a televised statement, he stressed the importance of destroying the tunnel which runs under the Gaza border and infiltrate Israel to prevent militants.


UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed concern over reports that Israel simply broadcast a warning to ask residents to leave northern Gaza.

He said the UN does not have the ability to cope with a wave of refugees. But Israel says they give a warning in order to minimize casualties.

Until now, Palestinian officials said 1,115 people - the majority civilians - have been killed since July 8. On the other hand, Israel has lost 53 soldiers and three civilians.

In another development, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accused Israel of acting like a "mad dog" and called on Muslims to arm the Palestinians so that they could resist the efforts of "genocide".

A total of 55 homes were destroyed in Israeli attacks Monday night and the number of people buried under rubble at least three homes, Palestinian security officials said the BBC.

Empty houses belonging to former Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas destroyed, as well as nine buildings, three mosques, government buildings, as well as TV and radio station building Hamas.

Gaza port is damaged and two schools and a kindergarten fire, security sources told the BBC.
