Bombed Ukrainian prison, 106 prisoners Fuzzy and 1 Killed

 

Donetsk - More than 100 prisoners escaped from a high security prison in the eastern city of Ukraine, Donetsk. The incident occurred after the building was bombed.

"In the afternoon on 10 August, a bomb hit the high-security prison, the prison colony No. 124 in the region of Kirov: A prisoner was killed, three injured and 15 lightly injured," wrote the city council as published by RIA Novosti on Monday (11/8 / 2014).

After the shooting, 106 inmates had escaped. But in the morning, some of them have returned.

Reported continued artillery shelling in the city of Donetsk on Monday morning, knocking out electricity substation near 214 Tochmash plants. Power supply for the 200 towers have been successfully repaired a few hours later, but the rest of the 14 substations, still required repairs.

"The situation remains tense in the city," said city council.

Last week, shooting in Donetsk claimed the lives of four people and wounding 18.

Cities of eastern Ukraine has become the target of attacks since mid-April, after the Ukrainian government launched a military operation to suppress the independence movement that developed in the region. According to the latest UN report, more than 1,100 civilians have been killed in the conflict and nearly 3,500 others were injured.
