Paris - Thousands of people took to the streets in several cities in France Saturday, August 2 to protest Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip.
"Israel assassin, partner Hollande (President of France Francois Hollande) in the crime," shouted one of the protesters at a rally in Paris, as reported by Alarabiya Saturday (08/02/2014).
In its action, the pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in several cities, including Marseille, Lyon and Lille, to voice their support for the Palestinians.
They strongly criticized the French Government which they have supported the Israeli attack on Palestine. According to them, government support was a shameful act.
"We are here to express our full support for the Palestinian resistance and condemned this shameful government (President of France Francois Hollande) to support the Israeli line," said Omar Alsoumi of the Palestinian Youth Movement.
In this week's pro-Palestinian protest in Paris continues. Some demonstrators vandalized to clash. In fact, arrests and accusations of anti-Semitism in which synagogues were targeted and burned an Israeli flag.
