7 Diet Antidiabetic


Diabetes mellitus is often associated with a lifestyle that is not good and not healthy. Therefore, the most possible step is to modify our behavior to be more healthy. Try some of these ways, as quoted by WebMD, Tuesday (22/07/2014):

1 Eat small portions.
How to eat it reduces the amount of calories into the body. Learn the number of servings recommended by nutritionists for every meal.

2 Reduce fat.
Avoid high fat foods and guna¬kan less oil when frying or sauteing. If possible, use healthy cooking oil. Do not use oil to fry many times.

3 Limit food sources of saturated fats or trans fats.
Food sources of saturated fats such as da¬ging fatty, fried foods, full cream milk, cakes, sweets, biscuits, pastries, pies, salad dressings, margarine, non-dairy cream. Choose a healthier salad dressings like olive oil.

4 Expand fiber.
Source of fiber can be found in cereals made from 100 percent whole wheat, oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread.

5. Increase fresh fruits and vegetables.
Eat a variety of vegetables and fruits every day. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables. Make juice from fresh fruit 100 percent. Do not added sugar because the fruit is sweet enough. Eat dark leafy vegetables such as broccoli and spinach, orange vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and legumes such as kidney beans, lentils etc.

Limit sweet 6..
If possible, avoid flavored fruit drinks, soda, tea, and coffee were very sweet. Sugar in the drink as it is very high. It's what makes the stomach so bloated.

7 Reduce salt.
Use less salt when cooking. If you can not add more salt at the table while eating. Avoid hidden sources of salt, such as pickles, processed meats, canned vegetables.
