Denies kidnapped Israeli soldier, Hamas: No info, Probably Dead

Gaza - Israel states continue to search for a kidnapped soldier suspected Hamas militants during the ceasefire, which has been broken only a few hours since the last set Thursday, July 31.

"Early indications show a soldier had been kidnapped during an ambush on Israeli soldiers, shortly after the ceasefire ended," said a spokesman for the IDF (Israeli army) Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner.

But Hamas said the party did not know the existence of an Israeli soldier who was said to have been arrested in Gaza.

"We also lost contact with some of the fighters in that area. Chances are they and Hadar Goldin (Israeli military) have also been killed," said a member of the Islamist group, Qassam, as published by the BBC, Saturday (08/02/2014).

"There is no information about this soldier," continued Qassam.

Hamas accused Israel of violating the truce shortly after it is approved, but the Israeli military (IDF) argued it was forced to respond to rocket attacks from the Palestinian side.

President of the United States (USA), Barack Obama described the abduction as a barbaric act. While the Israeli party says it will respond to the related retaliation.

Israeli air strikes continued through Saturday morning. Gaza health officials say nearly 100 Palestinians have been killed after the collapse of the cease-fire that day.

Since each gempur on July 8, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, some 1,600 Palestinians, mostly civilians died. With the number of injuries reached 8,400.
