Kidnapping Israeli troops Reply Determined by Hamas

Tel Aviv - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Foreign Affairs Minister John F. Kerry in a telephone conversation that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has been destroyed by Hamas and Palestinian militant factions other.

"They will bear the consequences of this action," said Netanyahu's office quoted as saying by the Washington Post, Saturday (08/02/2014).

In a statement issued after a telephone conversation with Netanyahu on Friday evening local time, Kerry blamed Hamas for violating the guarantees given to the United States and the United Nations. He also called on Hamas to release the prisoners immediately and unconditionally.

"It would be a tragedy if this outrageous attack caused more suffering and loss of life on both sides of this conflict," he said.

While Qatar and Turkey played a role in confirming the deal Hamas to respect the ceasefire.

Meanwhile, the UN Representative for this issue, Jeffrey Feltman said the United Nations was disappointed lull in fighting during the cease-fire to end. Feltman described it as a "tragic loss of opportunity for both parties."

72 Hours ceasefire has been designed not only to allow humanitarian aid to both parties but also to pave the way for a longer ceasefire through discussion demands of both sides in Cairo, Egypt.

"I wish we could go back to it," said Feltman. "But it would be very difficult in the situation we are seeing in Gaza now, especially with the captured Israeli soldiers," he said.

Israeli analysts say Netanyahu and top-level advisers should consider expanding operations in Gaza, although it was not intended from the beginning.

"It put the cabinet in a very awkward position," said Meir Elran, former deputy director of military intelligence and researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

Previously, Hadar Goldin (23), is lost when the Israeli army is trying to destroy the underground tunnels, Hamas militants attacked. 2 Soldiers also killed in clashes in the southern Gaza Strip, Friday morning local time.

United States Secretary of State John Kerry said it had urged that the soldiers were released and called the alleged kidnapping as a shameful act.
