Perpetrators attack kills US ambassador in Libya arrested


Washington DC - Unexpected terrorist involved the terror attacks in Benghazi that killed 4 Americans have been arrested in Libya. Ahmed Abu Khattala, the name of the man, now on the way to the land of Uncle Sam boarded a Navy ship.

Some sources, such as Liputan6.com quotes from FoxNews, Wednesday (18/06/2014) mentions, Khattala which is commander of Ansar al-Sharia, was arrested last Sunday in joint military operations and other law enforcement. He will face charges in the United States.

"No matter how long it takes, we will find those responsible and bring him to trial," said Obama.

Obama also praised the military, law enforcement and intelligence personnel who track down and detain Abu Khattala.

Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesman Admiral John Kirby said, Khattala is "a key figure in the attack on US facility in Benghazi." He said there were no civilian casualties in the operation of the weekend, and all United States personnel have departed from Libya safely.

The operation became the answer to the criticism launched by a number of members of Congress and their families, who were disappointed because no one ever suspects on trial. Khattala faces three charges filed in the Court of the District of Columbia. Namely: to kill someone in the attack on a federal facility; providing or attempting to provide support to the terrorists who caused the death; and using or carrying a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.
