Persons with Autism that Make Better Mood


Scientists have discovered, or the love hormone oxytocin may help people with autism conditions interact better with the outside world and social environment around. Previously, it has been associated with care for people with social disorders and mood.

As is known, the main characteristics of people with autism is their inability to handle social situations well enough, and lack of interest to interact with others.

Health Day reported, in a recent study, researchers in Japan found a dose of the hormone oxytocin is able to increase activity in brain regions, which is capable of processing emotion and empathy. Oxytocin is produced by women during pregnancy, birth, and in the production of milk for breastfeeding.

Although this treatment is indicated for those with autism were classified as severe conditions, it does not mean that autism is low is not able to function quite well. Because, these people rely more on nonverbal cues such as facial expressions. And this study has been published online in the journal Molecular Psychiatry.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, Monday (04/08/2014), previous researchers in France have found people with autism become more figure friendly and confident, and able to interact well, having injected the hormone oxytocin.
