Condemns attack on Gaza, Israel's US-UN Urges Ceasefire Again

 
A father wept for his son who was killed in the latest attacks in Gaza.

Cairo - United States and the United Nations (UN) condemned the attack done to Gaza and Israel after the cease-fire ended on Friday, August 8, 2014.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the two sides should work together to create a sustainable ceasefire.

Similarly, the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon to assess the suffering and death of civilians in the middle conflict not be tolerated.

"Secretary-General urged the two sides to return to respect humanitarian ceasefire and resume negotiations in Cairo to create a durable ceasefire," Ban said as quoted by the BBC, Saturday (08/08/2014).

Israel on Friday to continue its Gaza offensive, after a three-day truce ended. They said the attack carried out in response to rocket attacks launched by Hamas.

Meanwhile, the Hamas revealed they rejected a cease further because Israel can not meet their demand. Both sides have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement.

As a result of continued attacks with mortars, five people were killed and two Israelis were injured.

Although it has been returned to the conflict, Egypt is mediating the Israeli Palestinian conflict and continue to ask both sides to return to the negotiating table.

A Palestinian delegation had reportedly met with Egyptian mediators in Cairo on Friday night. However, Israeli officials withdrew from the talks because they do not want to re-negotiate when the attack occurred.

Senior Palestinian official said Mustafa Barghouti, actually fired rockets into Israel from Gaza is not, but from the other Palestinian territories.

Related attacks on Friday, UN agency says 1,354 of all deaths in Gaza are civilians, including 415 children and 214 women.

While the Israeli government states there are 64 soldiers and two of their citizens, as well as the nationality of Thailand who were killed in the conflict.
